Introducing Coquitlam Metro Ford SC

Coquitlam Metro Ford Soccer Club was formed through the 2007 merger of Metro-Ford Soccer Club and Coquitlam City Soccer Association.  Metro-Ford SC was founded in 1984, winning 22 youth and adult Provincial Cups from 1984 to 2004. The Coquitlam City Soccer Association was also founded around 1984.

At the adult level, Coquitlam Metro Ford SC were the BC Provincial Champions - Men's in 1994 and 1999 and BC Provincial Champions - Women's in 2019.

In 1994, Coquitlam Metro-Ford SC won the BC Provincial Cup - Men's by defeating Gorge FC in the final by a score of 2-1 with two goals from Davide Xausa. Not all of the Coquitlam Metro-Ford SC team in 1994 is known: David Azzi, Joe Billy, Richard Bodnark, Graham Brown, Ken Jenkins, Bradley Leitch, Carlo Marini, Paul Nelson, Brian Penk, Michael Pol, Ross Pontin, John Vairo, Davide Xausa and others. The coach was Garry Ayre.

In 1999, Coquitlam Metro-Ford SC won the BC Provincial Cup - Men's by defeating Vancouver Firefighters FC in the final by a score of 4-1 with goals from Andrew Veer, Keith Izzat, Ken Strain and Joe Billy. The Coquitlam Metro-Ford SC team in 1999 was: Drew Smiley, Richard Bodnark, Elliott Smith, Keith Izatt, Chris Jarvie, Dan Jones, Kevin Todd, Jeff Roberts, Bradley Leitch, Ken Strain, Andrew Veer, Joe Billy, Jason Thompson, Kurt Tanatmis, Joseph Marrello, Mike Kalinka, Tim Harris and Lorenzo Simion. The coach was John Vairo and the manager was Mario Vairo.

In 2019, Coquitlam Metro-Ford SC won the BC Provincial Cup - Women's by defeating Surrey United in the final by a score of 1-0 with a goal from Olivia Aguilar. The Coquitlam Metro-Ford SC team in 2019 was: Olivia Aguiar, Kelsey Atherley, Chantel Bohne, Georgia Brydon, Alexis Cattermole, Sarah Anna De Francesco, Selina Lynn, Gina Fabbro, Dayn McGregor, Ashley Melvin, Hayley Melvin, Stephanie Russo, Cara Santaga, Kristen Santema, Courtney Sheppard, Shelby Sheppard, Katie Smolik, Lena Soutar, Emma Thomas, Jennifer Torry, Alexandra Trenter, Erin Uchacz, Megan Webster and Emily Wilson. The coaches were Andrea Sumner, Oliver Heald and Chris Sheppard.
