Introducing Surrey United SC
Short Biography
Surrey United SC won 13 BC Women's Championships and three BC Men's Championships between 2003 and 2018, and won the National Women's Club Championships in 2006 and 2011. The women's teams were recognized with a BC Soccer Special Recognition in 2018 and induction into the Soccer Hall of Fame of BC in 2020 (See separate listing).

In the 2006 Club Nationals – Women’s, Surrey United defeated Coquitlam FC in the final game in Surrey, by a 2-0 margin. The Surrey players in the 2006 nationals were: Julie Armstrong, Megan Blaker, April Coffin, Geraldine Donnelly, Shannon Douglas, Martina Franko, Nadia Guglielmini, Natalie Halcro, Randee Hermus, Vanessa Martino, Erin McLeod, Sadie McLure, Kim McMullen, Theresa Nuttall, Kate Qually, Mylee Ross, Sophie Schmidt, Nicole Stewart, Chantelle Whitehead, Bianca Wilkinson. The Head Coach was Steve Kindel.
In the 2011 Club Nationals – Women’s, Surrey United defeated Royal-Sélect Beauport in the final game in Brossard, by a 2-1 margin. The Surrey players in the 2011 nationals were: Ari Adams, Alexandra Benes, Megan Blaker, April Coffin, Courtney Duncan, Natalie Halcro, Chelsey Hannesson, Randee Hermus, Kim McMullen, Theresa Nuttall, Rachael Pelat, Kate Qually, Mylee Ross, Nicole Stewart, Katie Thorlakson, Devon Wharf, Bianca Wilkinson, Caitlin Young. The Head Coach was Jeff Clarke.

In 2004, Surrey United won the BC Provincial Cup - Women's by defeating UBC Alumni in the final by a score of 2-1 with two goals from Martina Holan (Franko). The Surrey United team in 2004 was:Wendy Hawthorne, Martina Holan (Franko), Andrea Sumner, Diana Artuso, Megan Blaker, Mylee Ross, Nadia Nashelenas (Guglielmini), Kate Qually, Randee Hermus, Geraldine Donnelly, Vanessa Martino, Bianca Wilkinson, Sara Maglio and Sadie McLure.
In 2005, Surrey United won the BC Provincial Cup - Women's by defeating Coquitlam City in the final by a score of 4-1 with three goals from Randee Hermus and one from Martina Franko. The Surrey United team in 2005 was: Randee Hermus, Martina Franko, Megan Blaker, Vanessa Martino, Bianca Wilkinson, Natalie Halcro, Mylee Ross, Andrea Sumner, Sara Maglio, Nadia Nashelenas (Guglielmini), Geraldine Donnelly and Theresa Nuttal.
In 2006, Surrey United won the BC Provincial Cup - Women's by defeating Coquitlam FC in the final by a score of 2-0 with goals from Kate Qually and Megan Blaker. In 2008, Surrey United won the BC Provincial Cup - Women's by defeating Westside FC in the final by a score of 3-1 with two goals from Megan Blaker and one from Sharon Lehnert. The Surrey United team in 2008 was: Theresa Nuttal, Sadie Mclure, Natalie Halcro, Erin Porter, Geri Donnelly, Bianca Wilkinson, Sara Maglio, Vanessa Martino, Kate Qually, Randee Hermus, Mylee Ross, Sharon Lehnert, Shannon Douglas, Aly Benes, Nicole Stewart, Megan Blaker, Amelie Mercier, Racheal Pelât and Kim McMullen. The coach was Steve Kindell and the manager was Rob Sumner.
In 2009, Surrey United won the BC Provincial Cup - Women's by defeating Richmond Club Ireland in the final by a score of 2-1 with goals from Megan Blaker and Kate Qually . The Surrey United team in 2009 was: Megan Blaker, Katie Thorlakson, Lindsay Rohla, Bianca Wilkinson, Courtney Duncan, Erin Porter, Arianne Adams, Randee Hermus, Shannon Douglas, Caitlin Young, Rachael Pelat, Aly Benes, Natalie Halcro, Theresa Nuttal, Mylee Ross, April Coffin, Geraldine Donnelly, Nicole Stewart, Kim McMullen, Kate Qually, Amber Devriendt and Ellen K (last name unknown).

In 2012, Surrey United Firefighters won the BC Provincial Cup - Men's by defeating Delta United Hurricanes in the final by a score of 3-2 with two goals from Jeff Clarke and one from Steve McAuley. The Surrey United Firefighters team in 2012 was: Paul Shepherd, Jeff Clarke, Brayden Volkenant, Colin Steckman, Steve McAuley, Shawn Parkes, Steve Kindel, Angus Burke, Liam Miller, Ravinder Jammu, Brad Petoom, Kris Robazza, Niall Thompson, Matt Rosenlund, Vincent Stewart, Steven Fronzo, Nicola Perugini, Sean Einarsson, Ryan Reynolds, Stefan Leslie, Graham Spink, Andrew Proctor, Coultom Jackson, Jorden Whitehead, Rob Wilson and Andrew Fink.
